Licensed Public Adjuster
About Mitchell Kearns
I'm a licensed public adjuster based in Arizona with a background as a general contractor, and I help property owners navigate insurance claims when things don't feel right.
Before becoming a public adjuster, I worked in construction and project management, developing a strong foundation in estimating, scope development, and real-world repair costs. I've worked with detailed construction estimates, including labor, materials, and full project execution, which allows me to identify where insurance estimates often fall short.
In addition to construction, I've handled insurance claims within the construction and remediation industries, working directly with property damage, restoration scopes, and claim documentation. This experience gives me a practical understanding of how losses are evaluated in the field and how they should be presented in a claim.
I have also supported attorneys on complex insurance claims in a paralegal capacity, working on high-level cases involving coverage issues, scope disputes, and claim strategy. I've had the opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys and some of the top public adjusters in California, which has strengthened my ability to evaluate claims from both a technical and strategic standpoint.
This combined background — construction, estimating, remediation, and legal exposure — allows me to approach claims differently than most adjusters.
Today, I work with homeowners and commercial property owners across Arizona handling water, fire, storm, wind, microburst, theft, vandalism, and complex property losses, as well as underpaid, denied, and delayed claims.
My goal is simple:
Give you a clear understanding of your claim, what may be missing, and what your options are.
If it makes sense to move forward, I'll guide you through the process.
If it doesn't, I'll still point you in the right direction.
No pressure. Just clear, professional guidance.
